Abstract:
A voltage detection unit of this battery module detects the terminal voltage of each of a plurality of battery cells contained in a corresponding battery cell group. A computation processing device provides a detection signal indicating the values of the terminal voltages detected by the voltage detection unit to a battery ECU via a bus. An abnormality detection unit of the battery module detects the presence/absence of an abnormality of each terminal voltage of the plurality of battery cells of the corresponding battery cell group, and provides a detection signal indicating the detection results to the battery ECU via a signal line.
