Abstract:
A battery module (1) is provided with the following: a battery stack (2) having a plurality of stacked batteries; a first heat dissipation unit that opposes a first surface (2a) of the battery stack (2); a first heat transmission member (84) that abuts the first heat dissipation unit and the first surface (2a), and transmits heat from the battery stack (2) to the first heat dissipation unit; and a second heat dissipation unit that opposes a second surface (2b) that extends in a direction intersecting with the first surface (2a) of the battery stack (2), and is in direct contact with the second surface (2b) or is thermally connected to the second surface through a second heat transmission member (92). The first heat transmission member (84) and the battery stack (2) are in a positional relationship such that a center C1 of the first heat transmission member (84) in the planar direction of the first surface (2a) is disposed farther from the second heat dissipation unit than a center C2 of the battery stack (2) in the planar direction of the first surface (2a).
