This battery module (10) comprises a plurality of cylindrical batteries (11), a wiring base board (20), a plurality of positive electrode side collecting members (30), and a plurality of negative electrode side collecting members (40). The wiring base board (20) is a wiring base board having a multi-layered structure wherein wiring patterns are formed by being divided into a plurality of layers, and has a positive electrode side wiring pattern (23) and a negative electrode side wiring pattern (24). Each of the wiring patterns is formed as a different layer of the wiring base board (20). Each of the positive electrode side collecting members (30) connects electrically to one another the positive electrode side wiring pattern (23) and a sealing body (13) functioning as a positive electrode outer terminal of the corresponding cylindrical battery (11). Each of the negative electrode side collecting members (40) connects electrically to one another the negative electrode side wiring pattern (24) and a case main body (12) functioning as a negative electrode outer terminal of the corresponding cylindrical battery (11).
