Abstract:
Disclosed is a battery module for enhancing the heat balance of a cell assembly. In order to achieve such purpose, the battery module, according to the present invention, comprises: a cell assembly having at least three battery cells stacked in one direction, wherein, among the battery cells, at least one battery cell positioned on the inner side from the stacked direction of the battery cells has a thickness in the stacked direction that is thicker than that of a battery cell positioned on the outer side; and a module housing having at least one side wall, and having the cell assembly received in an inner space limited by the side wall.
