Abstract:
A battery monitoring apparatus (51) has a battery ECU (10), a plurality of voltage monitors (20), and a wireless device. The wireless device comprises a main unit (16) provided to the battery ECU (10) and sub-units (26) respectively provided to the voltage monitors (20). When communication connection for performing wireless communication is established between the main unit (16) and the sub-units (26), a command by the battery ECU (10) is wirelessly transmitted from the main unit (16) to the sub-units (26), and the sub-units (26) each wirelessly transmit to the main unit (16) voltage information detected by the corresponding voltage monitor (20). The wireless device acquires voltage monitor information before the communication connection is initially established, and establishes the communication connection on the basis of the voltage monitor information. A storage unit (17, 27) for storing the voltage monitor information is provided to the battery ECU (10) or to each voltage monitor (20). At a time of re-connection, the wireless device performs communication connection again using the voltage monitor information stored in the storage unit (17, 27).
