Abstract:
The present invention provides a battery (10) that has a self-supporting multilayer structure which comprises: a solid electrolyte sheet (11) that contains a solid electrolyte; a first active material layer (12) that is formed on one main surface of the solid electrolyte sheet (11), while containing a first active material; and a second active material layer (13) that is formed on the other main surface of the solid electrolyte sheet (11), while containing a second active material. It is preferable that the solid electrolyte sheet (11) has a first active material layer-side extension part (11C) which outwardly extends from the peripheral edge of the first active material layer (12), or a second active material layer-side extension part (11D) which outwardly extends from the peripheral edge of the second active material layer (13).
