Abstract:
Provided are a battery pack and an assembly method therefor. The battery pack comprises at least to battery units in a stacked arrangement. A housing of the battery units comprises an upper metal plate and a lower metal plate. A sealing element is provided between the upper metal plate and the lower metal plate. The metal plates of adjacent battery units are partly and electrically-conductively connected together. Compared with the prior art, the battery pack and the assembly method therefor provided in the present invention are such that, by providing a separation area at extremities of the housings of the battery units, when the battery units expand, the separation area mitigates or eliminates the problem of the battery units increasing in volume due to expansion, in addition, with the flexible sealing elements being provided at the extremities of the battery units, when the battery units expand, the flexible sealing elements are flexibly distended, thus also providing the effect of safety protection against the expansion of the battery units.
