Abstract:
In a battery pack, a battery monitoring circuit is connected to a battery module including a plurality of battery cells to monitor the battery module. A detection sensor detects an electrolyte leaked from a battery module, and comprises: a first resistor and a second resistor which are connected in series between a power source supplying a first voltage and a ground terminal; and a variable resistor which is connected in parallel to the first resistor and of which the resistance value is changed according to an electrolyte leaked from the battery module. The detection sensor transmits, as a sensing voltage, a voltage of a contact point between the first resistor and the second resistor to an input terminal of the battery monitoring circuit.
