Abstract:
A battery pack capable of preventing short-circuit between electrodes of a battery cell when foreign substances enter inside of a housing case is provided. A battery pack 12 provided with a housing case 15 which houses a battery cell 13 having electrodes and which is attachable/detachable to/from an attachment part of an electric power tool, a holder 14 is provided inside the housing case 15, and the battery cell 13 is housed in the holder 14. An opening 14b is formed in the holder 14, and an insulating member 21b which covers the opening 14b is provided. The housing case 15 is provided with a terminal insertion port 17a. Even when the foreign substances enter the inside of the housing case 15, the foreign substances do not enter the opening 14b.
