Abstract:
A battery pack and an electric vehicle. The battery pack comprises at least two batteries (101, 102) arranged in series and at least one disconnection unit (103). Each of the batteries comprises a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The at least one disconnection unit connects a positive electrode (1011) of a first battery to a negative electrode (1021) of a second battery which are adjacent, and is used for disconnecting the first battery from the second battery when a change in current of the battery pack exceeds a threshold value. According to the solution, by arranging a disconnection unit between a positive electrode of a first battery and a negative electrode of a second battery which are adjacent, the first battery can be disconnected from the second battery under a pre-set condition, such that a battery pack does not tend to short-circuit, thereby avoiding the occurrence of an electric shock accident.
