Abstract:
The present invention relates to a battery pack monitoring system and method. The battery pack monitoring system is arranged on a tool kit. The tool kit comprises a kit body, and an accommodating space is provided in the kit body. The battery pack monitoring system comprises a battery pack, a protection plate and a communication module, wherein the battery pack and the protection plate are placed in the accommodating space; the communication module and the protection plate are arranged separately and are mounted on side walls or in the accommodating space of the kit body; the protection plate is provided with at least one first pin interface; the communication module is provided with a second pin interface corresponding to the first pin interface; the protection plate monitors state information of the battery pack and transmits same to the second pin interface by means of the first pin interface; and the communication module receives and forwards the state information by means of the second pin interface, and transmits an external control instruction to the protection plate to control the state of the battery pack according to the control instruction. The protection plate achieves the monitoring and control of the state information of the battery pack, communication between the protection plate and an external device is achieved by means of the first pin interface and the second pin interface, and the cost thereof is low.
