Abstract:
The disclosed battery pack for a power tool is provided with a battery and a control circuit, and the control circuit is provided with a condition satisfaction determination means, a continuation satisfaction determination means, and a sleep-mode transition means. The condition satisfaction determination means determines whether or not each of at least one preset sleep-mode transition condition has been satisfied, and determines whether or not an all-condition satisfaction state is present, which is the state wherein all of said at least one sleep-mode transition condition are satisfied. The continuation satisfaction determination means determines whether or not said all-condition satisfaction state has continued for a predetermined time period when it has been determined by the condition satisfaction determination means that the all-condition satisfaction state is present. The sleep-mode transition means transitions the control circuit to a sleep mode by means of stopping a portion of the operation of said control circuit when it has been determined by the continuation satisfaction determination means that the all-condition satisfaction state has continued for the predetermined time period.
