Abstract:
The present invention discloses a battery pack which is configured to be safe even when a thermal event occurs. The battery pack according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: a battery module which is provided with one or more battery cells; a control module which is connected to the battery module and configured to manage the battery module; and a fire extinguishing tank which contains a fire extinguishing agent, is coupled to at least one of the battery module or the control module, and is provided with a blocking member, wherein at least a portion of the outer surface of the blocking member extends downward.
