Abstract:

[Problem] To improve viewability of a display unit of residual quantity, etc., without sacrificing ease of attachment and detachment operations of a battery pack. [Solution] Provided is a battery pack which is detachably mounted on a battery-powered apparatus and supplies power which drives the battery-powered apparatus, and with which charging is possible by detachable attachment to a battery pack charging apparatus. The battery pack comprises: one or more secondary batteries (1) which are capable of being charged; a battery case (31) which houses the secondary batteries (1); a mounting mechanism for mounting the battery case (31) upon either the battery-powered apparatus or the battery pack charging apparatus; an attachment/detachment manipulation part (52) for switching the mounting mechanism between a lock state and a disengage state; and a display part (56) for displaying the state of the secondary battery (1). The display part (56) is disposed upon the attachment/detachment manipulation part (52).
