Abstract:
Provided is a battery pack comprising: a battery module; a thermoelectric pump; and a cooling manifold. The battery module comprises: a first battery cell; a housing; and a first solid cooling pin. A first panel part of the first solid cooling pin is positioned to be opposite to the first battery cell. A second panel part of the first solid cooling pin is positioned on the external surface of the housing and coupled to the distal end of the first panel part. A first side of the thermoelectric pump is positioned to be opposite to the second panel part, and a second side of the thermoelectric pump is positioned to be opposite to a cooling manifold. The thermoelectric pump lowers the temperature level of the first battery cell by transferring heat energy from the first solid cooling pin to the cooling manifold in a first direction by means of a first current passing through the thermoelectric pump.
