Abstract:

The present invention relates to a battery pack to be connected with an electronic device, the battery pack comprising: a battery module having a plurality of battery cells, each having first and second electrode terminals formed thereon, which are arranged adjacent to each other and connected in series, wherein a first electrode terminal of the uppermost battery cell is connected with a second electrode terminal of the electronic device, and a second electrode terminal of the lowermost battery cell is connected with a first electrode terminal of the electronic device; a fuse provided between the first electrode terminal of the uppermost battery cell and the second electrode terminal of the electronic device; and a switching device that includes a first plate provided on the upper surface of the uppermost battery cell and connected with the first electrode terminal of the uppermost battery cell, a second plate provided on the first plate and connected with the second electrode terminal of the lowermost battery cell, and a support frame provided between the first and second plates and having a brittleness.
