Title:
BATTERY PACK
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/104108
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purposes of the present invention are to improve mechanical strength, while having an integral structure of a secondary battery cell and a circuit board, and to perform mass-production at low cost, while changing design to various shapes and sizes. A battery pack of the present invention is provided with: a thin secondary battery cell (1) having a terminal surface (1X); a circuit board (5) equipped with a protection circuit; a holder case (2) that houses the secondary battery cell (1) and the circuit board (5); and a resin-molded section (4) insert-molded with the circuit board (5) inserted therein. The holder case (2) has, on a same plane, a battery disposition region (21), in which the secondary battery cell (1) is disposed, and a substrate disposition region (22), in which the circuit board (5) is disposed. The circuit board (5) is disposed in the substrate disposition region (21) such that the circuit board is close to the terminal surface (1X) of the secondary battery cell (1) disposed in the battery disposition region (21). In the battery pack, the resin-molded section (4) is formed by embedding, in an insulating molding resin, a part of or the whole terminal surface (1X) of the secondary battery cell (1) disposed in the battery disposition region (21), and the circuit board (5) disposed in the substrate disposition region (22).
