Abstract:
The present invention ensures high stability by effectively preventing the triggering of thermal runaway in batteries. In this battery pack, a plurality of batteries (1) are disposed at fixed positions in a battery holder (2), and the batteries (1) are connected in series and in parallel by busbars (3). The battery holder (2) has a partition (5) that is disposed between adjacently disposed batteries. In the partition (5), there are battery housing portions (4) for disposing the batteries (1) at fixed positions. The partition (5) is provided with a heat insulating layer (10), which is an air layer in a nearby portion (5C) of the partition between batteries connected together in parallel, so as to reduce thermal conduction between said parallel batteries.
