Abstract:
Disclosed is a battery pack for a vehicle, configured to efficiently supply power to a vehicle side when mounted in an electric vehicle. A battery pack according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a battery cell; a power supply terminal configured to be connectable to a connection terminal of a vehicle, the connection terminal being connected to a vehicle control unit and a motor; a power supply path that is positioned between the power supply terminal and the battery cell and configured to supply power from the battery cell to the power supply terminal; a switching unit that is provided on the power supply path and configured to electrically turn the power supply path on/off; a mounting recognition unit configured to recognize whether the battery pack is mounted in the vehicle; and a processor configured to control the switching unit such that power is supplied from the battery cell to the vehicle control unit when a signal indicating that mounting of the battery pack in the vehicle has been recognized is received from the mounting recognition unit.
