Provided is a battery protection circuit. The battery protection circuit is connected to a battery module composed of a plurality of batteries that are connected in series. The battery protection circuit comprises a measurement module, a controller module, and a heat generation module, which are successively electrically connected, wherein the measurement module measures, in real time, a parameter of each battery in the battery module, and transmits the measured parameters to the controller module; the controller module compares the measured parameter of each battery with a preset first threshold, and when it is determined that the measured parameter of the battery is less than the first threshold, the controller module triggers the generation of a heat generation control signal and sends the heat generation control signal to the heat generation module; and the heat generation module cuts off a power supply path between the battery module and the heat generation module according to the heat generation control signal, such that a hair dryer is switched from a first working mode to a second working mode, the power of the first working mode being greater than the power of the second working mode. The present application further relates to a hair dryer comprising the battery protection circuit.
