Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of batteries. Provided are a battery protection structure, a battery, an electric device, and a method and apparatus for manufacturing a battery. The battery protection structure comprises: a base plate comprising a first surface and a second surface, the first surface being used for arranging a plurality of battery cells, the battery cell comprising a plurality of side walls, and the plurality of side walls being configured to be perpendicular to the base plate; and a force transmission member arranged on the base plate, one end of the force transmission member being connected to the second surface, and the other end of the force transmission member extending in a direction away from the second surface, wherein in an arrangement direction of the first surface and the second surface, a joint of the force transmission member and the second surface is configured to correspond to at least some of the side walls. By means of the arrangement, the impact force of the bottom part bumping can be transmitted to a side wall which not prone to deformation of the battery cell by means of the force transmission member, so that an internal short-circuit of a battery caused by the bottom part bumping can be prevented, and the safety of the battery is improved.
