Abstract:
A battery (100), comprising: a battery cell matrix (1), the battery cell matrix (1) comprising a plurality of battery cells (11) arranged in M rows and N columns, each battery cell (11) comprising a housing (111), end covers (112), and two electrode terminals (113), the electrode terminals (113) being respectively arranged on two end covers (112) of the battery cell (11) in the column direction (L), in the column direction (L), two adjacent battery cells (11) being connected by means of opposite arrangement of the electrode terminals (113), M and N being integers, M being greater than or equal to 2, and N being greater than or equal to 2; and at least one reinforcing plate (2), the at least one reinforcing plate (2) extending along the row direction (H) and being fixed to the housings (111) of the N columns of battery cells (11), the size of the at least one reinforcing plate (2) in the column direction (L) being smaller than the size of the battery (100) in the column direction (L), and the at least one reinforcing plate being fixed to the housings (111) of the battery cells (11) in two adjacent rows in the M rows. The battery (100) can prolong the service life of the battery (100) and enhance the safety of the battery (100).
