Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a battery replacement system allowing for a battery usage fee to be charged in accordance with the distance traveled by an electric vehicle, and quick replacement of the battery. An attendant reads a new total distance traveled D1 displayed on the windshield of the electric vehicle 1, inputs the total distance traveled into the battery replacement information processing device 9, and inserts a card 8 into the device 9. The total distance traveled D2 at the time of the previous replacement is stored in the card 8, whereby the actually traveled distance D3 is calculated inside the device 9, a battery usage fee based on the actually traveled distance D3 is calculated, and currently used battery information and the battery usage fee are displayed on a display 19. The attendant replaces the battery on the basis of the currently used battery information and requests that a user of the electric vehicle pay the battery usage fee.
