Abstract:
A battery spacer 2 comprises: a cylindrical case main body 4 through which a battery 3 is inserted; a bottom wall portion 8 against which the end of the battery 3 on the negative electrode side abuts and which is provided with a negative electrode exposing hole 12 through which a negative electrode terminal 13 of the battery 3 is partly exposed; an annular top wall member 6 positioned on the opposite side to the bottom wall portion 8 and provided with a central opening 54 through which the battery 3 is inserted; a plurality of negative electrode side gripping pieces 34, 36 extending from the peripheral edge of the negative electrode exposing hole 12 toward the inside of the case main body 4 and having negative electrode side engaging claws 40, 42 to grip the negative electrode side of the battery 3, the negative electrode side engaging claws engaging with the outer peripheral surface of the battery 3 on the negative electrode side; and a plurality of positive electrode side gripping pieces 58, 60, 62 extending from the peripheral edge of the central opening 54 toward the inside of the case main body 4 and having positive electrode side engaging claws 64, 66, 68 to grip the positive electrode side of the battery 3, the positive electrode side engaging claws engaging with the outer peripheral surface of the positive electrode side of the battery 3.
