A battery state monitoring system, comprising a power supply module, an information acquisition module, and a monitoring terminal. The power supply module is configured to supply power to the information acquisition module and a battery manager in an external battery module. The information acquisition module is configured to acquire battery information from the battery manager and send the battery information to the monitoring terminal. The monitoring terminal is configured to analyze the received battery information and determine an abnormal battery module from the external battery module. Power is supplied to the battery manager of the external battery module by means of the power supply module, and the battery information of the external battery module is obtained from the battery manager by means of the information acquisition module, such that the battery information of the external battery module can be obtained by means of the information acquisition module when the external battery module is in a non-working state. The monitoring terminal is configured to analyze the received battery information, and the abnormal battery module is determined from the external battery module, such that state monitoring can be performed on the external battery module in the non-working state.
