Abstract:
A battery status detection device (10) comprises a sensor (22), a communication unit (32), and an estimation unit (23). The sensor (22) measures at least one from among the voltage, current, and temperature of a rechargeable battery (4) installed in a vehicle (2). The communication unit (32) is configured to acquire reference information related to battery status detection from an external device (40). The estimation unit (23) is configured to estimate the status of the rechargeable battery (4) on the basis of a measured value from the sensor (22). The estimation unit (23) is configured to correct at least one of an estimation formula or a parameter on the basis of the reference information.
