Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a battery and a method for detecting battery remaining capacity. The battery comprises a first positive electrode, a first negative electrode, and a reference electrode. The first positive electrode and the first negative electrode are used as a power supply electrode when the battery is charged or discharged. The reference electrode is used to cooperate with at least one of the first positive electrode and the first negative electrode to detect the state of the battery. In the above manner of the present invention, the state of the battery is detected by establishing a reference electrode and by using a reference electrode in combination with the positive and negative electrodes, for example, detecting the battery remaining capacity, which greatly improves the accuracy for detecting the state of the battery, and the calculation method is not complicated.
