Abstract:
A battery storage device (1) comprises a main body (11), conveying units (12, 13) for contacting with a battery, and a switching unit (14) in the main body (11). The main body (11) has a top portion for accommodating the battery. The conveying units (12, 13) are provided at the top portion of the main body (11) and comprise at least a first conveying portion (12) for conveying, at the top portion, the battery in a first direction (x) and a second conveying portion (13) for conveying, at the top portion, the battery in a second direction (y). The first direction (x) and the second direction (y) form an angle. The switching unit (14) is associated with the first conveying portion (12) and the second conveying portion (13) to selectively control the first conveying portion (12) or the second conveying portion (13) to contact with the battery and to cause the selected conveying portion to convey the battery. The battery storage device is capable of easy battery storage, battery charging, and manual and automated battery replacement. The present application also relates to a battery storage and exchange system comprising at least two battery storage devices.
