Abstract:
A battery system monitoring device is provided with a plurality of battery monitoring circuits provided for each cell group and balancing resistors. The battery monitoring circuits have a cell voltage measurement unit for measuring the cell voltage of each single battery cell at a prescribed time interval, discharge switches for switching the state of the discharge currents flowing from each single battery cell through the balancing resistors, and a balancing control unit for controlling the discharge switches. Filter circuits are connected between the cell voltage measurement unit and each single battery cell, and the cell voltage measurement unit determines whether a cell voltage was measured within a transient response period corresponding to the filter-circuit time constant and uses a correction value corresponding to the result of the determination to correct the measured cell-voltage value.
