Abstract:
[Problem] To accurately estimate the lithium concentration distribution within an active material. [Solution] A battery system has: a lithium-ion secondary battery (1) using a two-phase coexistence type positive electrode active material (141b); and a controller (300) for calculating the lithium concentration distribution within the active material (141b, 142b) of the lithium-ion secondary battery by using a diffusion equation in which a boundary condition is set. The controller corrects a diffusion coefficient used in the diffusion equation, according to history data representing the state of charge of the lithium-ion secondary battery to date.
