Title:
BATTERY SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/002485
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In a battery system in which a plurality of kinds of batteries are connected via switches (SW), when the switches (SW) are changed over with a voltage (charging rate), charging electric charges at the time of charging can be further increased in some cases depending on the direct-current resistances of the batteries. The present invention provides switch (SW) changeover control such that charging electric charges can be further increased. According to a first characteristic of the present invention, a battery system in which a first battery and a second battery are connected in parallel via switches (SW) includes a means for measuring the resistance and an open circuit voltage (OCV) of each of the batteries and estimating a charging current, wherein a combination of the switches (SW) such that large charging electric charges can be obtained is adopted, thereby making it possible to further increase the charging electric charges.
