Abstract:
Provided is a battery system exhibiting high expandability. Thus, each battery pack constituting a battery system (1) obtains physical values for one or more batteries, calculates the battery state information on the basis of the obtained physical values, and communicates with another battery pack. One battery pack is set as a master battery pack MP, and all others besides the master battery pack (MP) are set as slave battery packs (SP). The slave battery packs (SP) transmit battery state information to the master battery pack (MP), and the master battery pack (MP) calculates integrated battery information on the basis of the battery state information of each battery pack.
