Abstract:
The battery system of an embodiment is provided with: a fuse; a battery unit connected in series with the fuse; a first contactor connected in series with the battery unit; a blowing circuit which is connected in parallel with the fuse and the battery unit, has a current limiting resistor and a second contactor which are connected in series, and, when blowing the fuse by the power of the battery unit, constitutes a closed circuit of the fuse, the battery unit, the current limiting resistor, and the second contactor by placing the second contactor in a closed state; and a control unit for controlling closing of the second contactor. Therefore, it is possible to ensure redundancy in the battery system, reduce power consumption during normal use, and ensure an actual operable time.
