Abstract:
Provided is a battery charge/discharge testing device that can efficiently use discharged power generated as regenerative power during discharging of a test battery. The battery charge/discharge testing device: has a sub charge/discharge unit that is connected to a main charge/discharge unit via a bus line; executes sub power supply control whereby discharged power from an internal battery in the sub charge/discharge unit is supplied to the bus line via a full bridge circuit by performing duty ratio control of on/off for a switching element in the full bridge circuit in a sub DC/DC conversion unit such that the voltage between bus lines is a first prescribed voltage value when the output voltage of the internal battery is within a power supply permitted voltage range; stops sub power supply control when the voltage between bus lines exceeds the first prescribed voltage value during sub power supply control; and executes constant-current charging control that charges the internal battery via the full bridge circuit, using discharged power from a test battery as power supply, said discharged power being supplied between bus lines by duty ratio control of on/off for the switching element.
