Abstract:
This battery unit has: a battery pack that houses a battery cell; and a cooling-medium passage that is formed on the outer side of the bottom surface of the battery pack. The cooling-medium passage is constituted from a Zn-plated steel plate. The Zn-plated steel plate has an inorganic coating or a resin coating formed on the surface thereof as a chemical conversion coating. The inorganic film includes a Si component or a Zr component as a main component thereof.
