Abstract:

A battery (10) is in the following initial state. A laminated body (100) has a thickness T0 from a first electrode (110b) to a first electrode (110c). A first position (P1) is separated, by a distance L0, from a first position (P1) side end portion of a separator (130a) in the direction orthogonal to the thickness direction of the laminated body (100). A first position (P1) side end portion of a first tab (112a) protrudes further than a first position (P1) side end portion of a second electrode (120a) toward the first position (P1) by a distance G in the direction orthogonal to the thickness direction of the laminated body (100). The laminated body (100) is designed such that, even if the laminated body (100) swells in the thickness direction of the laminated body (100), the thickness from the first electrode (110b) to the first electrode (110c) of the laminated body (100) is less than 4×{(T0/2)2 + L0 2 – (L0-G)2}1/2.
