Abstract:
A battery (1000) that comprises a positive electrode (201), a negative electrode (202), and an electrolyte layer (111). The electrolyte layer (111) includes a first electrolyte layer (101) and a second electrolyte layer (102). The first electrolyte layer (101) includes a first solid electrolyte material (111), and the second electrolyte layer (102) includes a second solid electrolyte material that is different from the first solid electrolyte material (111). The first solid electrolyte material (111): includes at least one element selected from the group that consists of lithium, metal elements that are not lithium, and metalloid elements and at least one element selected from the group that consists of chlorine, bromine, and iodine; and does not include sulfur.
