Abstract:

The present disclosure provides a battery which has high reliability. A battery (50) according to the present disclosure is provided with an electrode layer (10), a counter electrode layer (20) that is arranged so as to face the electrode layer (10), and a solid electrolyte layer (30) that is positioned between the electrode layer (10) and the counter electrode layer (20). The electrode layer (10) comprises a collector (11), an electrode active material layer (12) that is positioned between the collector (11) and the solid electrolyte layer (30), and an insulating layer (13) that is positioned between the collector (11) and the electrode active material layer (12) at an end of the electrode layer (10); the counter electrode layer (20) comprises a counter electrode active material layer (22) that is arranged so as to face the electrode active material layer (12); the electrode active material layer (12) has a region that does not overlap with the insulating layer (13) when viewed in plan; and a lateral surface of the insulating layer (13) and a lateral surface of the electrode active material layer (12) are flush with each other.
