Abstract:
Provided is a beach cleaner which can satisfactorily shake down sand scooped up into a trash recovery body, without the need to perform snaking or carry out a sand removing operation. Said beach cleaner (50) comprises a frame (53) formed by longitudinal members and lateral members. This beach cleaner (50) is also provided with a ski member which is installed on the front section of this frame (53) and comes into contact with sand ground (GL); a towed section which is towed by a tow vehicle; a separation machine which is provided in a lower portion forward of the frame (53), and which separates trash from sand ground and scoops up said trash; a trash recovery body (100) which is disposed in such a portion of the frame (53) as is aft of this separation machine, and whereby the trash scooped up by the separation machine is collected on a netted member; and a wheel (80) which is installed in the rear portion of the frame (53). The trash recovery body (100) is composed of a fixed recovery body (100a) which is located at the forward end of the trash recovery body (100)and is fixed to the frame (53) at a position considerably higher than the same; and a swing recovery body (100b) which continues from the rear of the fixed recovery body (100a), the front end of which swings at a position lower than the fixed recovery body (100a), and which is supported in such a way that sand and trash can be separated from each other.
