Abstract:
A bead member for tires, which comprises: a bead core having at least a bead wire; and a bead filler that is arranged so as to be in contact with the bead core directly or with another layer being interposed therebetween. The bead filler has: a continuous phase that contains a thermoplastic elastomer; and discontinuous phases that contain an amorphous resin, while being scattered about in the continuous phase. The tensile elastic modulus Ei of the discontinuous phases is higher than the tensile elastic modulus Es of the continuous phase.
