Title:
BEAD AND MESH BEADING TECHNIQUE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/096979
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention relates to a unique new Bead and Mesh Beading Technique. A process of stringing bead(s) which are any item (s)/materials that are strung onto a strand of any material then attached to a mesh-like surface; said surface is made of any material; for the purpose of designing and making a decorative product or an article of "beaded" art. Currently, there are several techniques used in needlepoint, jewelry making, and art work for attaching or making a decorative beaded article where the beads are woven or attached to a canvas or similar material one after the other. In all these techniques the art work is created by attaching, weaving or stringing the beads.

Claims:
What is claimed.

1. The "Bead & Mesh Beading Technique" comprising of: a. A "mesh base" consisting of a plurality of mesh openings, shapes and sizes.

b. A "bead" consisting of any material that can be "strung" onto another material that can then be attached to the "mesh base". c. "Stringing" material is any material that allows one to "string" "beads" to a "mesh base".

d. The "mesh base" as in claim 1, wherein said "mesh base" is used together with "beads" and any "stringing" material to create any article of art.

e. The "mesh base" as in claim 1, whereas said "mesh base" is made of any material.

f. A "mesh base" as in claim 1, whereas the surface of said "mesh base" is used for "stringing" "beads".

g. Strands of colored "beads" arranged and "strung" to said "mesh base" to form a design.

h. A "beaded" "mesh base" made of any material comprising any height, width or depth.

i. A "mesh base" as in claim 1, where "beads" are "strung" to the "mesh base" using any plu rality of "stringing" techniques to create a new article of art.

j. A "mesh base" as in claim 1, in which the horizontal, vertical, circular, or where any other shape is used to form the su rface width of the "mesh base".

k. A "mesh base" comprising of a plu rality of patterns in which one or more "beads" are "strung" across onto its su rface making an art form.

I. A "mesh base" as in claim 1, in which the grids comprising its surface are made of and are arranged in any combination of longitudinal directions to form its surface.

m. A "mesh base" as in claim 1, made of any rigid or soft material for the pu rpose of designing and making any decorative article of "beaded" art.

n. "Beads" that are "stru ng" onto any plurality of materials that are then "strung" onto any plu rality of "mesh base" materials .

Description:
BEAD & MESH BEADING TECHNIQUE

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The main object of this invention is to provide a new process of attaching bead-like items on any strand of material, then attach ing said item(s) to a mesh-like base; the mesh-like base can be any dimension and made of any material; bead-like items are then strung to the mesh-like base using any plurality of stringing tech niques to create a new article of art.

Another object of this invention is to provide a mesh-like base of any dimension ; made of any material, shape and size. The "mesh base" is made of any plurality of designed shapes and sizes and/or openings for attaching/ stringing said bead-like objects.

Another object of this invention is to be able to utilize any bead-like object or material as "Beads", which can be stru ng onto any material and attached to a

"mesh base" .

Another object of this invention is to utilize any and all materials for "stringing" said "bead" items to a "mesh base".

1. In summary this invention provides a unique and new method of beading using any "bead" items that are "stru ng" onto any material and then attached to a "mesh base".

2. Provides new method in which "beads" are "stru ng" to create artistic beaded art of any type and scale.

3. Creates a new method of "stringing" "beads" to a "mesh base" to achieve a consistent finished bead product or art. 4. Provide a new u niversal beading technique that can be used for any "beaded" art form to create any work of art.

5. The endless variety of art that can be created out of the current invention enables the artist or manufacturer to design any type of beaded art work on a "mesh base".

6. "Beads" are any material that has a hole through it or one where a hole can be added for the purpose of "stringing". 7. The "Stringing" material can be anything that works with the "beads" and the "mesh base" to achieve said technique. The Bead and Mesh beading tech nique is created by "stringing" one or multiple number of "beads" of any size, shape, color or type onto a 'mesh base" made of any size, shape, color or type. The "stringing" entry points are of any size, shape, color or type and the "beads" are strung to the "mesh base" using any plurality of stringing techniques to create a new article of art or beaded product.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

is an isometric view illustrating the mesh and the path of a stitch that attaches the color beads to a pathway on the mesh surface.

FIG. 2 : is an aerial view illustrating the "bead and mesh beading technique" in accordance with the principles of this invention .

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Detail description of the components of the present invention are as follows:

Referring to FIG. 1 : "Mesh Base" #6 & #7; "Strung" "Beads" #2 & #5 ; "Stringing" material #1, #3 & #4; entry point for "Stringing" material #8.

Referring to FIG. 2 : "Mesh Base" #6 & #7;"Stru ng" "Beads" #1, #2 & #5 ; entry point for "Stringing" material #8.

FIG. 1 & 2 Illustrations of a generic "Bead and Mesh Beading Technique" "beads" "strung" onto a "mesh base", showing the "stringing" entry point #8, by the use of hand or any mechanical method, and as will be explained more fully.

The process of the "Bead and Mesh Beading Technique" is done by "stringing" "beads" onto a "mesh base", by hand or any mechanical device that is used to secu re the beads to the "mesh base"; using any plurality of ties; any plurality of "stringing" tech niques; any plurality of "stringing" materials; any plurality of "beads"; any plurality of "mesh base" material; any plurality of dimensions, any plurality of colors; any plurality of surface patterns and any plurality of art work to create any art form. BEAD & MESH BEADING TECHNIQUE

Conclusion and Scope

Accordingly, the reader will see that th is new tech nique of beading represents a technical breakthrough in the way beadlike objects are attached to a multitude of surfaces.

The beads, stringing materials and mesh bases as represented in this invention can be used in a variety of art forms such as in beaded jewelry; in beaded home accents or used by advanced artist's to create large works of art such as murals, etc. The above new technique can be used by both professionals and amateu rs to create stun ning new works of beaded art.

Although the descriptions above contain a number of specifications, these should not be construed as limiting the scope of this bead & mesh beading invention ; but as merely providing an illustration of some of the preferred embodiments of this new method of attach ing beads to a material and then to a mesh base.
