Abstract:
A bead noise filter for suppressing unwanted noise by increasing the specific resistance of the MnZn ferrite and improving a high-frequency characteristic, and for suppressing noise by reducing the dielectric constant of the MnZn ferrite without deforming the transmission signal waveform. The bead noise filter comprises a cylindrical magnetic core (1) having one or more through holes (1a) and made of a soft magnetic material having a high specific resistance and signal lines (2) passed through the through holes (1a). The soft magnetic material (1) of the magnetic core of a closed magnetic circuit has a complex relative permittivity the real part of which ranges from 1,000 to 20,000 at 1 kHz and is below 50 at 1 MHz and a specific resistance of 150 &ohm m or more.
