Abstract:
Provided in the present invention are a beam group management method, a base station, and a terminal. The beam group management method for use in the base station comprises: dividing multiple beams into at least one beam group; using at least one beam of the at least one beam group to bear downlink-transmitted content and to transmit to a terminal; and notifying the terminal of parameter information of the at least one beam of the at least one beam group. The present invention transmits downlink-transmitted content to a terminal in the form of a beam group, thus allowing cells using different beam widths for transmitting a mobility measurement reference signal to participate fairly in the selection of target cell, and increasing user performance.
