Abstract:
Provided are a beam indication and reporting method, a network device, and a terminal. The method comprises: generating indication information, wherein, for each transport layer from among at least one transport layer, the indication information is used to indicate a beam attribute, corresponding to the transport layer, of each beam in a beam set the beam attribute being one of multiple beam attributes, and the multiple beam attributes at least comprising a non-candidate beam, a candidate reference beam, and a candidate non-reference beam; and sending the indication information. The technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present application may limit, by indicating whether the beam can be used as a reference beam or a non-reference beam and when constructing a precoding vector by using beam combination, a selection range of a reference beam having a large influence on a spatial direction of the precoding vector, thereby limiting and/or adjusting the direction of data transmission indicated by the precoding vector obtained by using beam combination, and thus achieving the aim of reducing interference.
