Abstract:
Disclosed is a beam management method using a reflection module. A method according to one embodiment of the present specification can provide an effective beam management service for a terminal located in a shadow area, by: transmitting, by a base station (BS), a synchronization signal for downlink synchronization in a first window; transmitting, by the BS, a request to change a reflection pattern of a reflection module located apart from the BS in a start point of a second window after the first window; changing, by the reflection module, the reflection pattern upon receiving the request; and when a condition set in the second window is satisfied, transmitting, by the BS, the synchronization signal for the downlink synchronization and information on the reflection module to a user equipment (UE) through the reflection module. A base station, a terminal, and a reflection module of the present specification may be associated with an artificial intelligence module, a drone (unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)), a robot, an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, devices related to 5G services, etc.
