Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to achieve efficient conversion of a beam profile of a laser beam using a simple configuration. The present invention is provided with: a first optical fiber which outputs guided light from a first end face; and a second optical fiber which is a multi-mode optical fiber for receiving light as an input on a second end face and guiding light, wherein the second optical fiber has a core diameter larger than that of the first optical fiber at the first end face, and the light outputted from the first end face is inputted, in a direction slanted with respect to the second end face, to a core part of the second end face at a position spaced away from an optical axis of the second optical fiber.
