A beam-welded joint wherein: a beam-receiving part, which is arranged at the butted end part of a thick steel material on the far side from a beam emission source, and which protrudes toward a thin steel material from the surface formed by the weld metal, is formed as an area that is integral with the thick steel material; a portion of the weld metal forms a weld metal tip part within the beam-receiving part; a stress relaxation groove, which opens with an angle α of 20°-80°, is formed by a distal surface, that is, the surface of the thin steel material on the far side from the beam emission source, and a beam-receiving surface, that is, the surface of the beam-receiving part facing this distal surface; the angle β, which is formed by the beam-receiving surface and the surface formed by the weld metal tip part, is 30°-140°; and a portion of the weld metal is exposed at the bottom of the stress relaxation groove, thereby forming an exposed part with a width of 0.5-3.0 mm.
