Abstract:
The present invention relates to a communication technique, which is a convergence of IoT technology and 5G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rate beyond 4G system, and a system for same. The present invention can be applied to smart services (e.g. smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, health care, digital education, retail businesses, security- and safety-related services and the like) on the basis of 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology. The present invention comprises: a first antenna array for forming a beam in a particular direction; a second antenna array positioned a preset first distance away from the first antenna array and for forming a beam in a particular direction; and a lens positioned a preset second distance away from a beam radiation surface of the first antenna array and the second antenna array and for varying the phases of the beams radiated by means of the first antenna array and the second antenna array, wherein the lens is divided into a first area and a second area having different phase quantization resolutions.
