Abstract:

Disclosed are a bearer processing method and device. The method comprises: acquiring, by a source base station, local Internet protocol access (LIPA) capability information about a target base station; judging, by the source base station, whether the target base station maintains an LIPA bearer where a terminal is activated according to the LIPA capability information; and managing, by the source base station, the LIPA bearer according to a judgement result. By means of the present invention, the problems in the prior art that a mobility decision cannot be performed in advance and mobility control cannot be performed on a handover request of an X2 link are solved, thus achieving the effect of saving resource consumption and signalling overheads.
