Abstract:
In the present invention, a bearing abnormality detection device for a railway vehicle detects abnormalities in a plurality of roller bearings incorporated in a journal box (3), and comprises: a plurality of vibration detection devices (15) that detect the operational states of the roller bearings as vibration data; and an analysis device that assesses abnormalities in the roller bearings on the basis of the vibration data detected by these vibration detection devices (15). The bearing abnormality detection device further comprises: a lead measurement start command means that causes the vibration detection device (15) disposed in the vicinity of the wheels of the lead car to start detection of vibration data in response to measurement start input; and a subsequent measurement start command means that, after the measurement start input is input into the lead measurement start command means, causes the vibration detection devices (15) disposed in the vicinity of subsequent wheels to sequentially start the detection of vibration data following a set delay period.
